PhilPost ID as Recognized Document for Passport Application:

The Department of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of the Philippines has announced that they are now accepting the Philippine Postal Corporation ( PhilPost) ID as a primary document in passport applications starting th following month.



Neil Frank Ferrer, Foriegn Affairs Assistant Secretary for Consular Affairs and Assitant Postmaster-General Luis Carlos have signed a MOA on the acceptance of Philipost Ids' as valid ID in application of Passprt last July last july 8 2019.



Other Ids' acceptable for application of passport are those issued by SSS, GSIS, PRC and OWWA.



Also included are, Unified Multi-Purpose Identification Cards, LTO Drivers; License, Voters' ID, Firearms License, School ID and Senior Citizen ID.
